New Year’s Eve at Grandma’s House

New Year’s Eve at Grandma’s House

Show Information

Theaters around the country have shut down because of the Covid-19 pandemic and the 2nd Act Players is no exception.

But people need entertainment now, more than ever perhaps. So 2nd Act Players have created a Video Vault to bring you scenes from past productions. New scenes are being posted daily on our Facebook page and on our YouTube channel.

We’ll also be posting them here.

New Year’s Eve at Grandma’s House is a story of a family long ago and far away. Our play opens on New Year’s Eve 1960, as American is about to face great changes and challenges. It’s New Year’s eve on President Street in Brooklyn, where a large Italian family gathers as it has for years to ring in the New Year and hope for better times ahead.

But the changes soon to sweep over the country are making themselves felt at this traditional family gathering as well. How will the family cope?
