New Playwright’s Festival

Show Information

Eleven unpublished, new plays will be read over the course of the festival from July 26-August 1, 2021. Professional judges, the BAC team, and the audience will vote on the plays. The play that receives the highest score will be awarded a full staged production in the Beverly Arts Center’s 2021-22 Professional Theatre Series.

  • The performances are in-person and outside in the BAC's courtyard. Should it rain, performances would be held in our Baffes Theatre where there is plenty of room to socially distance.
  • Masks are optional, but strongly encouraged if performances are held inside.
