Join award winning comedian Ron Popp as he films his first comedy special. Originally from the farmlands of Indiana, Ron has made Chicago his home where he entertains audiences with his dry wit and unique observational humor, all with a gay twist. Ron created and performed the solo shows It Gets Bitter and Joyous Faggotry to sold out crowds at the Indy Fringe Festival. Recently he was featured on the podcasts Are Your Parents Proud of You? (probably not) and How Social is Your Media? (meh, it’s O.K.) This past year Ron was chosen to perform at the P3 Gay Comedy Festival and the upcoming New Orleans’ Hell Yes Fest. Locally Ron has appeared at Laugh Factory, Zanies, Roast Battle, The Lincoln Lodge and The Annoyance Theater and has also been featured on numerous Chicago showcases. Joining Ron will be the hilarious Chicago comedians Manny Petty and Dana Kaye.
