Black Teen Lives Matter: Family Stories

Black Teen Lives Matter: Family Stories

Show Information

Black Teens Lives Matter returns! Our virtual project in four acts draws on monologues and short plays written by Black teens in our EPIC (Empathic Playwriting Intensive Course) program from 2017-2020.

Black Teen Lives Matter: Act Two is curated by Brianna Buckley, Elena Feliz, Jabari Khaliq, Jarrett King, and Londen Shannon.

Directed by EPIC Teaching Artist Jarrett King, this collection of student-written plays will premiere on Saturday, February 27. Join us at 2:00PM CST to watch the video and then stay and discuss the plays with the creators. An encore presentation and talkback will occur on Monday, March 1 at 7:00PM CST.

Please join us for one of the two Zoom screenings by clicking on the appropriate button below. Only one reservation is needed per household.
