In this comedic farce Mike Aldridge is retiring as Kansas City’s most beloved radio host who is holding a small cocktail party among family and close friends at his home to kick off his final week of broadcasting. Guests include his New Yorker son Mike Jr. who constantly bickers with his sister Dorothy Cox and her touchy, feely husband Allen. Mike’s agent Bea Greenberg, who is bitter that her cash cow client is calling it quits will be attending along with her husband Seth. Mike’s quirky oddball newsman Marty Jacobs crashes the party causing mayhem. The womanizing Uncle Art, Mike’s younger brother will be on hand to catch a few drinks. The final guest is Mike Junior's high school sweetheart Nicole Montrose, who causes quite a stir in the festivities. Witness the lengths to which a father will go to help his son find true love and happiness.
