The Apiary
The Apiary

Show Information
Set 22 years into a bleak future, The Apiary follows two lab workers as they experiment to save the last of the world’s remaining bee population. After a few failed attempts, Zora and Pilar finally receive some encouraging results… but will we (and society) be able to stomach the seemingly dark methods required to save our precious pollinators?
The Apiary originally premiered off-broadway in 2024 with Taylor Schilling as Gwen (Orange is the New Black) and was directed by Kate Whorisky at the Second Stage Theatre.
Clark Week is ecstatic to bring the production to life for the first time in the Chicagoland area with Anna Klos directing, Eimi Schyler delivering the scenery.
