I Killed Andy Breitbart
I Killed Andy Breitbart

Show Information
I Killed Andy Breitbart is the unbelievable but true story of how a small Chicago theater company became an unwitting target in the far-right’s efforts to torpedo the re-election of President Obama. Spoiler…they failed. In 2012, just hours before his death, Andrew Breitbart, creator of Breitbart.com, wrote about the Terrapin Theatre production from 1998, The Love Song of Saul Alinsky, for which then-State Senator Barack Obama served on a post-play panel. The article became the inspiration for a tornado of conspiracy theories and vitriol from his followers, making the producer a target of various forces whose goal was to prevent the reelection of President Obama. AUDIENCE RESPONSES I was hanging on every word. Pam is such an engaging storyteller! The play left me feeling hopeful & entertained. Pam artfully weaved such a moving piece! Loved the intensity, vulnerability, smarts… I Killed Andy Breitbart returns for a limited run following The Philly Fringe Festival.
