Valhalla’s Daughters is an original full-length contemporary dance production by Ardent Dance Company, bringing the world of Viking women to life through movement, storytelling, and theatrical performance. Featuring Ardent’s professional dancers alongside youth performers from the community, the production explores the women and girls left behind, and those called to become warriors themselves. Through themes of family, courage, sacrifice, grief, and survival, Valhalla’s Daughters asks what it means to find strength when the world around you is shaped by war.
