Experience FREE work-in-progress readings by current recipients of the Chicago Cultural Center New Play Residency, a funded incubator offering space, time and funding for the development of new text-based plays and musicals.

Projects include:

  • A Century of Sparrows, by Sierra Rosetta, produced by Freshly Brewed
  • Chalo! – A Soccer Musical, by Reva Sangal and Avery Powers, produced by Pop Up! Productions
  • Daybreak, by Jacob Watson and Erin A. Lekovic with songs by Laura Stratford, produced by Laura Stratford
  • The Girl Who Sang With the Moon, Book, Music and Lyrics by Christie Chilles Twillie, produced by Firebrand Theatre
  • The Rosina Project, by BRAVEMONK, K. F. Jacques, ‘Kechi, Mikey to the P, and Pinqy Ring, produced by Chicago Fringe Opera and BraveSoul Movement
