Family patriarch Orgon is so enamored with the “moral piety” of Tartuffe that he promises his daughter Mariane to him and signs over his house to him—but Tartuffe meanwhile is after Orgon’s wife, Elmire, and all his money! Mayhem ensues, and it’s all in the Conspirators’ signature Style with the punk-rock attack that you loved in our previous mega-hits, Duck Soup! and Chicago Cop Macbeth.
